Decision Making Strategy
Syllabus
Game theory is a framework for hypothetical social situations among competing players. In some respects, game theory is the science of strategy, or at least the optimal decision-making of independent and competing actors in a strategic setting. Relatively little specific math is required; but you should be familiar with basic probability theory (for example, you should know what a conditional probability is), and some very light calculus would be helpful.
Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to teach students the strategic way of thinking about behavior of rational agents, their strategies and decisions in an economy, business and life. Objectives of this course are: to introduce methods of the Game theory as tools in application and improving analytical and decision-making skills. You will leave this course better equipped to confidently tackle any decision large or small, and you'll do so in a way that creates the optimal conditions for success.
